Chesapeake Bay Retriever Dog
A chesapeake bay retriever dog is easily found in most photo collections featuring hunting dogs.
At first the hound was described as a spaniel and it actually looked like one as was curly coated. The descendants of the hounds were crossbred with a Newfoundland. The hounds were brought at last to the great bay where they got the name of the breed.
